Restricted Radiotelephone Operator's Certificate
The CRR is a French exam that is very useful
and a recommended training course for safe navigation.

This training takes place in France, under the supervision of the ANFR,
the National Frequency Agency and is only done in French.
​
Other countries can offer equivalence to the CRR:
the Maritime Short Range Certificate.
​
This certificate (or its foreign equivalent) is required to apply for a French licence by equivalence to the Monegasque licence.
